[Initiatives by the Regions: monitoring of companies and assessments by supervisory bodies]
Abstract
The Italian Regions' Technical Working Group on Work-Related Stress was established in 2010. It developed guidelines for risk management and inspection activities and, together with INAIL, carried out a monitoring plan of risk assessment and management methods in a sample of 800 companies.
The results of these initiatives are useful in order to understand the most recurring mistakes, as well as identifying those tools and procedures offering the most effective way to avoid underestimation of risk while, at the same time, pursuing the correct fulfillment of legal obligations.
